The occupants of two vehicles which collided on Hillsdale Road at Booie on Sunday morning were lucky to escape serious injury.

Senior Sergeant Duane Frank, from Kingaroy Police, said the two vehicles were travelling in opposite directions when they clipped at the top of a small crest near McAuliffes Road.

One of the vehicles spun around and slid off the road, travelling a further 50m before coming to rest.

Ambulance paramedics treated a 54-year-old Kingaroy man, who was driving a Commodore stationwagon, at the scene for cuts to the head. A 17-year-old girl in the car was treated for shock.

A 34-year-old man, who was driving a Ford sedan, was treated at the scene for bruising.

Both vehicles were extensively damaged.

A motorcycle rider suffered a minor injury in a collision in Kingaroy on Monday morning.

The motorbike and a car collided at the corner of Prince Street and Hodge Street about 8:15am.

The rider was taken by ambulance to Kingaroy Hospital with a suspected broken ankle.
