Rural fire crews have been kept busy in the South Burnett on Friday with three fires burning in the area.

Just before midday, a large bushfire was reported near Old Taabinga Road and Kingaroy-Cooyar Road at Brooklands.

Multiple rural brigades attended.

At 4:45pm, eight units were still on site working at putting in fire breaks.

No property was reported to be under threat but crews will remain on the scene overnight.

Meanwhile, at 1:45pm, firefighters were called to Boardman Road at Hodgeleigh after reports of a grassfire.

Twelves crews were still at the fire three hours later.

Again, no property is believed to be under threat.

And a fire that broke out on Wednesday in scrubland near McGuire Road, Franklin Road and Wattle Camp Road at Wattle Camp is reported to be still burning, but posing no threat to property.
