Kingaroy’s Corey Evans, from Jen-Daview Limousins, was named the 2015 Limousin Youth Ambassador at the annual Limousin Youth Camp held in Pittsworth at the weekend.

More than 100 competitors from across Australia attended the 9th annual camp, which provides hands-on opportunities for young men and women to improve their cattle skills.

They picked up tips about artificial insemination, washing and grooming cattle for showing, halter making, judging and show ring etiquette.

“Jen-Daview Leopold”, exhibited by Corey, was sashed Grand Champion Bull in the cattle judging competition.

Grand Champion Female was “Oakwood Black Sable”, led by Hayden Beresford from Biggenden.

Jen-Daview Limousins’ “Jen-Daview Lady Janke” was sashed as Champion Parader.
