The Grand Finals of this year’s South Burnett Evolution Solar Football League competition on Saturday night were capped off by presentation of the Football South Burnett Seniors Awards.

These awards are given at the end of each season after the presentation of trophies to the winning Grand Final teams.

This year’s winners were:

  • Male Best & Fairest – Pete Collins (Gunners)
  • Female Best and Fairest – Rehab Murray (Gunnettes)
  • Tinny Pub Rising Star Award, Male – Alex Firman (Wests)
  • Tinny Pub Rising Star Award, Female – Taylah Berlin (Barambah)
  • Dean Weber Memorial Most Improved Male – Aaron Vanderkolk (Barambah)
  • Dean Weber Memorial Most Improved Female – Kiara Wright (Gunnettes)

Golden Boot Awards:

  • 1st Division: Kieran Mangan (Panthers) – 15 Goals
  • 2nd Division: Brendan Kelly (Gunners) – 6 Goals
  • Women’s Division: Raegan Campbell (Panthers) – 18 Goals

Roy Jenkins Memorial Referees Award – Neil Gurnett

U18 Referee of the Year Award – Jackson Kelly

Referees Fair Play Award – Barambah & Wests (shared)

Joseph Copas won the Roy Jenkins Memorial Award for the Best and Fairest U21 player, and Alex Firman won the Tinny Pub Male Rising Star Award

Panthers 2015 Golden Boot winners Raegan Campbell and Kieran Mangan, who sank 33 goals between them this season
This year’s Minor Premiership awards went to Wests (2nd Div), Panthers (Women’s Div) and Panthers again (1st Div), and were accepted by each team’s captain
