UPDATE 5:30pm: Fourteen fire crews were called on Wednesday afternoon to a bushfire burning in scrubland near McGuire Road, Franklin Road and Wattle Camp Road at Wattle Camp.
A QFES spokesperson said the fire was not posing a threat to property but was expected to continue burning for the coming days.
The blaze broke out about noon.
Earlier, the spokesman warned that the fire was large and fast moving bushfire and advised of much smoke haze in the area.
