A man has been charged after a daring theft at a Kingaroy hotel on Monday night.
Police will allege the man entered the bar about 7:00pm with a number of friends.
While one person distracted bar staff, the man allegedly went behind the service area and removed a sum of money from a cash register.
The group then left the hotel.
Police spoke to people in the area and viewed CCTV footage before charging a 25-year-old Nanango man with entering premises and stealing.
He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on October 12.
