Kingaroy police detected two alleged drug drivers within just an hour on Monday morning.
Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant Duane Frank, said at 10:30am police pulled over a 36-year-old man in the Kingaroy CBD. He allegedly tested positive to cannabis.
At 11:30am, a 22-year-old Kingaroy woman was stopped on the D’Aguilar Highway while driving into Kingaroy. She allegedly tested positive to cannabis and amphetamines.
The woman also allegedly told police she was three months pregnant.

No complaint has been made after an apparent assault occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning in Haly Street, Kingaroy.
Police blocked off the street, between McDonald’s and Memorial Park, to conduct an investigation after local residents reported blood on the street.
Comments on social media suggested one of the participants may have been glassed.
Police established that an altercation had occurred between two groups who had a prior disagreement, and who had accidentally met up in Haly Street.
However, no official complaint was made to police.

A 21-year-old Kingaroy man will face drug charges after police searched a home in Carinya Street, Kingaroy, last week.
Police will allege they located a small amount of cannabis and drug utensils.
On Wednesday afternoon, police executed a search warrant on a house in Agnes Street, Kingaroy. A 17-year-old woman has been charged with possessing dangerous drugs and drug utensils.
Police also searched a house in Haly Street where they allegedly found a small amount of cannabis and drug utensils. A 37-year-old man and a 41-year-old man have both been charged with drug-related offences.

A 37-year-old male driver breath-tested in First Avenue, Kingaroy, last Monday at 9:00pm has been charged with drink-driving after he allegedly blew a .078 BAC.

Police called to a disturbance in a house in Brisbane Street, Nanango, at 1:00am last Tuesday arrested and charged a 31-year-old man with trespass, refusing to comply with a police direction and carrying a weapon in a public place.
Snr Sgt Frank said police would allege the man was carrying a length of steel pipe more than half a metre long.
He allegedly told police he had the pipe “in case there was going to be a problem with the people at the house”.

A 23-year-old man walking along Kingaroy Street with friends at 12:30pm on Thursday was allegedly punched and kicked after a vehicle pulled up beside him.
Snr Sgt Frank said it would be alleged two men got out of the vehicle.
“One punched the pedestrian a number of times, knocking him over and then kicking him,” Snr Sgt Frank said.
The man allegedly suffered facial injuries and bruising.
Police later visited a house in Harris Road, Kingaroy, where they took into custody and charged a 20-year-old man with assault occasioning bodily harm.
Snr Sgt Frank said the men were known to each other.

Police were called to Murray Parade in Kingaroy on Saturday after complaints from local residents that a suspicious person was in the area.
Patrols located a 27-year-old Kingaroy man behaving erratically and “obviously drug-affected” in the backyard of a house.
He allegedly told police that he had no idea where he was because he had been “smoking too many drugs”.
The man has been charged with possessing dangerous drugs and trespass.
