A woman aged in her 30s has been flown to hospital after being thrown from a horse on a property west of Kingaroy on Wednesday.

An RACQ CareFlight spokesperson said the woman hit her head on the ground and was temporarily knocked unconscious.

The horse then rolled on the woman.

The RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked from the Clive Berghofer CareFlight Centre in Toowoomba at 2:30pm.

The woman was treated for a suspected head injury and flown to Toowoomba Hospital.

She travelled in a stable condition.

A woman was taken to Kingaroy Hospital with minor injuries after a single vehicle accident on Brooklands-Nanango Road on Wednesday morning.

The incident occurred just after 11:00am near the intersection with Majors Road, Nanango.

Ambulance paramedics treated her for neck pain at the scene before transporting her to hospital.
