Work started last Friday on the expansion of SBcare’s Lakeview Friendship Centre in Kingaroy.
The $250,000 project will provide much-needed office space, provide clients with a dedicated meeting area and “quiet space”, and develop a safer car parking area at the rear of the building.
Workers from Dino’s Bobcat and Bitumen have removed the old structures and dug the new foundations.
Kingaroy builder Mal McFarlane will move into the site next week to begin construction of the new wing.
