South Burnett Veterinary Services is hosting an information night tonight (August 25) to provide an opportunity for horse owners to ask questions about the Hendra vaccine.
There has been controversy lately in the mainstream media about suspected over-vaccination occurring and the deaths of otherwise healthy horses.
Anti-vaccination groups have also been active on social media.
Guest speaker Dr Richard L’Estrange, an expert in veterinary pharmacology and Area Veterinary Manager for Pfizer Animal Health, will be available to answer questions.
The information night will be held at the Murgon RSL Diggers Room from 6:00pm (for a 6:30pm start).
