One lucky speedway driver will have the opportunity to win the experience of a lifetime in a new four-round series for Modified Sedans which has been organised for the upcoming racing season at the Lucas Oil Kingaroy Speedway.

The winner of the Ian Boettcher Race Parts Golden Helmet Series will win a prize that money can’t buy … the opportunity to race in a two-meeting deal in the Ian Boettcher Race Parts Super Sedan Generation 3.5 Dominator house car, including using all their team resources, staffing and knowledge.

They will be racing alongside twice-Australian champion Darren Kane who will run in the team’s sister car.

The winner of series will earn the right to have a test night in the car and then compete at two fully fledged Super Sedan race meetings.

“We really wanted to do something for the Modified Sedan division and give someone the opportunity to compete in an all expenses paid ‘multi race meeting deal’ in one of our Super Sedans,”  Ian Boettcher Race Parts director Greg Boettcher said.

“Modified Sedans are already so strong and we rate the drivers up among the elite drivers right across the country within the entire sport.

“Whoever wins the IBRP Golden Helmet Series will certainly be a class act, and we can’t wait to see what they are capable of doing in our Super Sedan.

“They will (also) get the opportunity to work with our team, on our cars at the practice and the two race meetings which will give them some great exposure to our resources, knowledge and technical skills.

“Everyone at IBRP are all extremely excited about this and can’t wait to see what the lucky winner can do behind the wheel or our Super Sedan.”

The Golden Helmet Series will also include a total of $40,000 in prize money and a random prize draw.

Each round of the series will pay $1000 to win. There will also be a pay day down to the last place in the feature race.

The prize money will be presented at the end-of-season South Burnett Speedway Club gala presentation night.
