Urban and rural fire crews were called to fight a grass fire burning close to a house in Malar Road at Booie on Sunday afternoon.
Firefighters were called to the incident about 2:00pm.
Fire crews quickly contained and extinguished the fire.

Plumes of smoke over the Wondai area on Saturday afternoon came from a planned burn.
McEuen Rural Fire Brigade conducted hazard reduction burns between the Wondai Showgrounds and the old Butter Factory on Saturday afternoon.

UPDATE: Fire crews were called to a grass fire burning on Cherbourg Road about 3:30pm on Monday. They had the fire under control in 15 minutes.
