Nanango Police are currently investigating two break and enters which occurred on Sunday night.

Food, drinks and alcohol were stolen during the break-ins at the Nanango Bowls Club and Nanango Pool.

Thieves entered the buildings by smashing windows.

Yarraman police are investigating an incident in which a car left the New England Highway and rolled at Upper Yarraman on Sunday about 8:00pm.

Acting Sergeant Steve Crawford, from Yarraman Police, said it was believed the driver slowed and pulled off the road to avoid a collision with a motorcycle travelling in the opposite direction.

Unfortunately, the 25-year-old male driver lost control of the vehicle on the shoulder of the road.

He was taken to Kingaroy Hospital with minor injuries and discharged later that night.

Earlier in the day, a car pulling a trailer overturned on the New England Highway on the Cooyar Range.

Acting Sgt Crawford said no one was injured in the incident which occurred about 3:30pm but it was a timely reminder to drivers to take extra care when pulling a trailer.

He said vehicles behaved differently when they had a trailer attached.

Drivers should also take special care when securing loads.
