A man and a woman have been taken to Kingaroy Hospital with suspected minor injuries after a three-car nose-to-tail pile-up on the D’Aguilar Highway Monday afternoon.

The incident occurred about 3:30pm near the Bellbird Road intersection at Coolabunia.

It is believed the first car braked to avoid hitting an animal, but was then struck by the vehicle behind. A third vehicle then hit the second.

The driver of the middle vehicle and a passenger in the third were taken from the scene by ambulance.

No further information is available at this time.
