The grand finals of the Kingaroy Touch Association’s first season for 2015 were played at T.J. O’Neill Oval in Kingaroy on Monday night.
There were several very close games in the various divisions.
Presentations were made to the winning teams at the end of each game by Kingaroy Touch Association president Lee Moller.
The Player of the Match and the Player of the Season for each division were also announced.
The Junior Presentations (see below) were also held earlier on the night.
Each junior player received a medal in front of proud parents and friends in the packed Red Ants clubhouse.
A very special part of the evening was the presentation of a thank you gift and a Life Membership certificate to long-time Touch stalwart and Junior Development Co-ordinator Leesa Johnston.
Leesa is stepping back after 13 years with the club.
Nominations for Season 2 will open in the first week back from the school holidays; games will begin in the second week back.
