The trial of a man charged over the death of a 26-year-old woman in Kingaroy has been stopped and the jury discharged in the Brisbane Supreme Court.
Glen Brian Duggan, 39, was charged with murder following the discovery of the body of Renee Peta Todd in her Gladys Street flat on April 10, 2013.
The trial was scheduled to begin on Tuesday and the jury had been empanelled.
However after a legal debate, the jury was dismissed.
Members of Miss Todd’s family are believed to have travelled from NSW for the hearing.
The trial will now begin again on Monday, May 18.
