The annual Mother’s Day Classic fun run / walk is on again in Kingaroy on Sunday (May 10).

The event  is part of nationwide fundraising program to help the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

This year it is being organised by Zarly Anne’s Fitness, of Kingaroy.

This year the run will be held in 104 locations around Australia. Since it began in 1998, $24.3 million has been raised across Australia for breast cancer research.

The Kingaroy run will be held at Memorial Park.

There are two courses:

  • 8km run – starts 7:30am
  • 4km run / walk – starts 7:45am

Participants can register online  (until midnight tomorrow) or register on Sunday morning from 7:00am (no dogs are allowed).

Entry fees are adult $20, student / health card holder $12, child (16 years and under) $10, family (2 adults and up to 4 children) $50 or (1 adult and up to 4 children) $30.
