Kingaroy’s Broadway Hotel hosted a mini show’n’shine on Saturday as a fundraiser to assist Kingaroy’s Geiger family.

There were hotrods, street machines and a handful of Harleys.

The show ran from 1:00pm to 4:30pm, with money raised from a sausage sizzle, 10 per cent of the bar takings, and gold coin donations from the public.

Popular local mum Lynda Geiger is currently undergoing treatment for cancer.

The South Burnett Gas Guzzlers club topped off the fund-raising with a $500 donation.

The show was run by a group of eager volunteers.

Jason George, from the Broadway Hotel, said there were a group of sponsors that should also be thanked:

  • Westlink Petroleum
  • DS Automotive Paint and Panel
