The South Burnett Saints have notched up back-to-back wins after easily downing Coolaroo in Toowoomba on Sunday.

The Saints, who are yet to play at home, were dominant in all quarters, leading by 44 points at half-time.

By full-time, their lead had blown out to 73. The final score was Coolaroo 6.8 (44), South Burnett 18.9 (117).

Saints’ goals were kicked by Adam Bowater (4), Carl Stevenson (3), Dane Sheraton (3), Brad Edwards (2), Bryce Commerford (2), Jack Day, Scott Stewart, Kyall Shepherd and Daniel Rogers.

In U16s, South Burnett defeated Coolaroo 9.13 (67) to 9.8 (62) in a very close game.

The Saints managed to gain a small lead in the third quarter which they held on to until the final whistle.

The under-strength South Burnett women’s team had no luck in their match against Coolaroo, failing to put a point on the board.

The Roos finished 37.19 (241).
