The Brisbane Paralympic Football Program visit which had been scheduled for this Saturday, April 18, in Kingaroy has been cancelled.
Martin Stern, from the Kingaroy Junior Redbacks, said he was disappointed he had not received any inquiries about the proposed visit despite it being publicised in the local media, school newsletters and through a local disability service.
“I would like to thank the Redbacks Committee and CTC for getting behind me and supporting this program,” Martin said.
“Hopefully we can ignite it in the near future.”
He said another visit may be pencilled in towards the end of the season.
