Cancer Council of Queensland CEO Professor Jeff Dunn AO will be the special guest speaker at the next South Burnett Mayor’s Charity Breakfast.
Prof Dunn currently holds a professorial appointment with Griffith University and is an Adjunct Professor with the University of Queensland.
His research focus is on the development and delivery of supportive care for cancer patients.
All funds raised at the Mayor’s Breakfast, which will be held at the new Cassis restaurant on the Booie Range, will go towards this year’s Relay For Life fundraiser for the Cancer Council.
As well as being an opportunity to hear Prof Dunn, it will be also a great way to see the new restaurant (formerly known as The Belltower or the Booie Bello Vista).
Cassis, which has new owners, plans to open its doors for the first time just next week.
The breakfast will be held from 6:45am to 8:30am on May 1. Cost is $30 per person and bookings are necessary for catering purposes.
