The Nanango Race Club will be holding its annual CROW-FM 90.7 Easter Race Meeting at the Lee Park Raceway this Saturday, April 4.
The meeting has a “Floaty Frocks And Polka Dots” theme and everyone is encouraged to dress up in their best outfits to be in the running for some great Moffatdale Ridge Fashions Of The Field prizes.
This meeting, rather than have Fashions Of The Field entrants line up for judging, roving judges will move through the crowds and award spot prizes to the best-dressed instead.
There’ll also be additional spot prizes for those dressed in Easter style (eg: bunny ears, tails or just a great Easter bonnet), plus free Easter eggs for children.
The club’s popular Pink Champagne bar will be running all day, too.
Buses will be running to the races from Kingaroy’s Carrollee Hotel at noon; the Glendon Street Bus Depot at 12:15pm, and the Nanango RSL at 12:30pm.
Gates will open at the track about noon and the first race will leave the barriers at 1:40pm.
Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for pensioners (under 15s are free).
