Wondai Art Gallery’s April exhibitions will still be across the road in the Town Hall as repairs at the gallery are not yet complete.
There will be two exhibitions for visitors to enjoy – the 2015 Wondai Garden Expo Art Competition, and “Ten Years From Here To There”.
The annual Garden Expo competition is always popular with local artists.
This year the theme is “Gardens of the South Burnett” and entries can be in any medium.
First prize is $200, 2nd $150 and 3rd $100. There will also be a $50 prize awarded to the work voted “People’s Choice” on the opening night, April 10.
“Ten Years From Here To There” has been described as a “fruit salad of art”.
It features works by members of the “Tuesday Morning Art Group” from Gympie Regional Gallery.
Entry to the opening night is by gold coin donation. Wine and cheese will be served and there will be live entertainment.

While Gympie artists are coming to the South Burnett, South Burnett artists have trekked across to Gympie for a major exhibition.
Works by Cherbourg’s Yidding Artists are featured at an exhibition “Cherbourg That’s My Home”, which will run until April 24.
