A man has been taken to Kingaroy Hospital with minor injuries – and a driver charged – after a truck and a pushbike collided in Crawford this morning.

The incident occurred in Liesegangs Road, near Siefert Street, about 6:30am.

The 42-year-old truck driver has been charged with driving while disqualified and will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court.

Police impounded his truck because of alleged repeat unlicensed offences.

A QAS spokesman said the 42-year-old pushbike rider suffered neck pain and lacerations to the knee and elbow.

Acting Senior Sergeant Jason Newton, from Kingaroy Police, said investigations into the incident were continuing.
