Three people have been taken to Kingaroy Hospital with minor injuries after a single-vehicle crash on the D’Aguilar Highway between Yarraman and Blackbutt this morning.

Emergency crews were called to the scene at 8:45am.

It is believed the car was travelling south on the highway when the driver allegedly lost control.

The red Holden ute left the highway about 5km south of Yarraman and crashed into a culvert.

A 53-year-old male occupant suffered a non life-threatening head injury.

A 46-year old female passenger and the 30-year-old male driver also suffered minor injuries.

The driver has been issued with a notice to appear in the Nanango Magistrates Court on March 26 to face charges of unlicensed driving, driving without due care and attention and exceeding the safe carrying capacity of the vehicle.
