Service clubs, businesses and community groups in Kingaroy came together in December to make the annual Christmas Community Lunch a big success.

More than 120 people attended the event, which was held on Christmas Day at the SB Care building in Kingaroy.

Attendees enjoyed a roast dinner followed by either trifle or Christmas pudding.

The lunch was free but guests were also invited to make a small donation.

The organising committee would like to thank:

Andersson’s Fruit Market, Brumby’s Bakery, Cheryl Dalton, Deb Frecklington MP, Foodworks, Kingaroy Butchery, Kingaroy Lions, Kingaroy Meals on Wheels, Kingaroy Rotary, Kingaroy Senior Citizens Club, Michael Carroll, NAB Kingaroy staff, Paul Stoddart, Quota International Kingaroy, Salvation Army Kingaroy, SB Care, South Burnett CTC, South Burnett Online, South Burnett Times and Taabinga Rotary for their help and/or donations to make the event happen.

The committee would also like to make a very special “thank you” to all the volunteers who gave up their Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to help their fellow citizens of the South Burnett.
