If you can’t make it to a polling booth on January 31 – or you just want to get your democratic duty done as soon as possible – there’s some good news: pre-poll voting offices for the State Election opened today.
In the South Burnett, pre-poll votes can be lodged at:
Callide Electorate
- Murgon Courthouse, 48 Stephens Street West, 9:00am-4:30pm on January 19-23 and January 27-29; and 9:00am-6:00pm on January 30.
- Kilkivan Council Building, 26 Bligh Street, 8:30am-4:30pm on January 19-23 and January 27-29; and 8:30am-6:00pm on January 30.
Nanango Electorate
- Blackbutt Council Building, 69 Hart Street, 9:00am-3:30pm on January 19-23 and January 27-29; and 9:00am-6:00pm on January 30.
- Kingaroy Courthouse, cnr Kingaroy and Alford streets, 9:00am-4:30pm on January 19-23 and January 27-29; and 9:00am-6:00pm on January 30.
- Returning Officer, Nanango, 85-87 Drayton Street, 9:00am-5:00pm on January 19-23 and January 26-29; and 9:00am-6:00pm on January 30.
