Corey Evans, from Kingaroy’s Jen-Daview Limousin stud, has proven he’s also pretty handy with Santa Gertrudis.
Corey took home the Champion Herdsperson title at the National Santa Gertrudis Junior Show held at Morgan Park near Warwick last week.
For his effort he won a Santa Gertrudis heifer.
Corey is no stranger to success in the ring.
Last year, he won the prestigious QCAS Stud Beef Cattle Paraders title, run in conjunction with the Brisbane Ekka, and regularly wins local cattle competitions.
