Due to overnight rain, Saturday’s Nanango Races have been abandoned. The next meeting at the Club will be held on January 17

The Nanango Race Club will be holding its annual Christmas Race Meeting at the Lee Park Raceway on Saturday.

This is the last South Burnett race meeting for the year.

The meeting’s theme is “Shades of Christmas” and guests are encouraged to dress up in their best Yuletide outfits to be in the running for some great Moffatdale Ridge Fashions Of The Field prizes.

The club’s popular Pink Champagne bar will be running all day and there’ll also be a licensed bar and barbecue, bookies and an on-course tote.

Buses will be running from Kingaroy’s Kingaroy’s Glendon Street Bus Depot at noon, and the Nanango RSL at 12:30pm.

Gates will open at the track at 10:00am and the first race will leave the barriers at 1:35pm.

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for pensioners (under-15s are free).
