Barambah Environmental Education Centre at Gallangowan has been awarded a $1079 funding grant to improve its facilities.
The school environmental education centre will use the funding too help implement a new waste management system which will reduce the amount of waste heading to landfill.
The grant has come from the Keep Australia Beautiful Association through its Beverage Container Recycling Grants program in partnership with Coca Cola South Pacific.
