Growing the Burnett’s mid-week Farmers Markets in Kingaroy will have pizzas available from tomorrow (Thursday).
Newly established Nanango business Reel Pizzas plans to have its mobile wood-fired pizza oven at the markets, which are held in O’Neill Square every Thursday from noon to 6:30pm.
Reel Pizzas owners Piers and Cassie Shapley say they are excited with the commencement of their business.
“Reel Pizzas is based in the South Burnett and we have tried to source items for our business from the local region as much as possible, some of the herbs are from our vegetable garden,” Piers said.
“It will be a great opportunity for people who work in Kingaroy to order a pizza for lunch and buy their weekly fresh fruit and vegetables whilst waiting for it to be cooked.”
