A 33-year-old man suffered leg injuries and whiplash in a single vehicle road accident on Trouts Road, west of Kingaroy, on Friday morning.
Senior Sergeant Duane Frank, from Kingaroy Police, said about 6:45am the man swerved to avoid a kangaroo. He lost control of his vehicle, left the road and hit a tree.
Emergency services attended the scene and the man was transported to Kingaroy Hospital.

On Friday afternoon, police on their way to execute a drug search warrant at a house in James Street, Kingaroy, intercepted a person from the house in a vehicle in Haly Street.
Snr Sgt Frank said police would allege the 21-year-old man began acting erratically, and became aggressive and argumentative with police. He was arrested and taken to Kingaroy Hospital where a blood sample was taken for further analysis in relation to possible drug-driving offences.
The police conducted the search at the James Street house and allegedly located a small amount of cannabis and other drug items.
Investigations are continuing.

Kingaroy police arrested a 17-year-old man on Saturday morning wanted on an arrest warrant for failing to appear in court. The man had previously been charged with failing to follow a police direction to provide identification.

A 28-year-old man who headbutted the wall of a Kingaroy hotel on Friday night has been charged with public nuisance, public urination and wilful damage.
Police were called to the hotel about 10:00pm.

A 30-year-old man has had his Suzuki impounded by police after he was pulled over for speeding on the D’Aguilar Highway at Kingaroy on Sunday afternoon.
Police will allege the man was doing 134km/h in a 100 zone near the Redmans Road intersection.
Snr Sgt Frank said a licence check revealed the man was a repeat unlicensed driver.

Police have conducted a number of drug raids recently.
On Thursday, police searched a house in Fitzroy Street, Nanango, where they allegedly located a small amount of cannabis and drug utensils. A 37-year-old man has been charged with drug offences.
Also on Thursday, police searched a house in Hay Street, Nanango, where again they allegedly located cannabis and drug utensils. A 17-year-old man has been charged.
On Friday, a 44-year-old woman was charged with possessing dangerous drugs after a police search of a home on the New England Highway at Yarraman allegedly located cannabis.
