Bird lovers flocked to the Kingaroy Showground on Saturday for the South Burnett Aviculture Society’s special bird sale and market.

Club members were displaying and selling both native and exotic birds from 2:00pm to 4:30pm.

As well, there were market stalls to browse, a jumping castle for the kids and a display of cars from the South Burnett Gas Guzzlers.

Club vice-president Yuloue McBryde said there had been quite a few sales made.

The club meets every month at the showgrounds.
