Ten fire crews were called to a large grassfire burning on a property near Weeks Road at Goodger this afternoon.
The fire broke out at about 1:00pm and sent smoke billowing into the sky south of Kingaroy.
Fire crews laid down protection around a nearby house but a QFES spokesman said the fire was currently posing no threat to property.
Both urban and rural brigades attended.
The fire has burned out about 2ha of land.
UPDATE 3:15pm: Six fire crews are at a grassfire burning in the vicinity of Coolabunia Road and Malar Road at Booie.
This fire, which broke out at 2:00pm, is also posing no threat to property and crews are working to contain the fire.
UPDATE 5:00pm: Fire crews are also in attendance at a grassfire near the Chinchilla-Wondai Road at Ballogie. No further information is available.
