A 36-year-old woman will face a charge of driving without due care and attention after a single vehicle traffic accident on the D’Aguilar Highway last Wednesday.
Senior Sergeant Duane Frank, from Kingaroy Police, said witnesses saw the woman’s 4WD Suzuki suddenly run off the road near the overtaking lanes between Kingaroy and Nanango.
The woman and her two-year-old child – the only other passenger in the vehicle – were taken to hospital by ambulance for precautionary checks.

An 18-year-old and another 17-year-old have both been issued with a drug diversion orders on similar charges.

A 24-year-old man allegedly told police that cannabis was causing his erratic behaviour when they confronted him in Youngman Street, Kingaroy, on Wednesday night.
Police were responding to complaints of a disturbance in the area.
The man was issued with a notice to appear on a charge of possessing drugs.

Police were called to a disturbance in Doonkuna Street, Kingaroy, at 2:30am on Sunday after complaints of fighting and screaming.
A 36-year-old man will face a charge of carrying a knife in a public place.

After receiving complaints from the public, Kingaroy police attended public toilets in Glendon Street, Kingaroy, at 1:00pm last Thursday.
They allegedly located a woman, 33, and a man 21, and a number of syringes.
The woman has been charged with possessing and using controlled substances; the man has been charged with possessing a controlled substance.
