The semi-finals of the U12/13s McDonalds Junior Football competition were played in Kingaroy on Saturday.
Second placegetters King Air Redbacks took on 3rd spot Kingaroy Accounting & Tax Redbacks, with the winner going through to the Grand Final and the loser to the Consolation Final.
In a close game, King Air Redbacks 4 narrowly defeated Kingaroy Accounting & Tax Redbacks 3.
Minor premiers Hair Elegance Redbacks played fourth placegetters The Mad Gamer Panthers.
In another close result, Hair Elegance Redbacks are through to the Grand Final after defeating The Mad Gamer Panthers 4-3. The Panthers will play in the Consolation Final.
Other U12/13s games played on Saturday determined positions for the 12/13 Cup which will also be played on Grand Final day:
- Sellwood Construction Bears 2 defeated Goldmix Stockfeed Bears 1.
- Can Do Landscaping Supplies Panthers 4 defeated The Lucky Charm Newsagency Redbacks 3
The Grand Final in the U12/13s competition, between King Air Redbacks and Hair Elegance Redbacks, will be played next Saturday at Kingaroy at 12:30pm.
The Consolation Cup, between Kingaroy Accounting & Tax Redbacks and The Mad Gamer Panthers, will be played at 11:15am.

- 8.00am: Goldmix Stockfeed Bears v Sellwood Construction Bears
- 8.30am: Can Do Landscaping Supply Panthers v The Lucky Charm Newsagency Redbacks
- 9.00am: Goldmix Stockfeed Bears v The Lucky Charm Newsagency Redbacks
- 9.30am: Sellwood Construction Bears v Can Do Landscaping Supply Panthers
- 10.00am: Goldmix Stockfeed Bears v Can Do Landscaping Supply Panthers

The last round of regular fixtures was played in the Cadets competition on Saturday:
- Kingaroy Joinery Redbacks 4 defeated South Burnett Car Sales & Windown Tinting Redbacks 0
- Total Building Solution Qld Bears 8 defeated Fleming Garage & Dugies Driver Training Panthers 3
The semi-finals in Cadets will be played on Thursday night (September 11) in Kingaroy.
At 6:00pm, the Kingaroy Joinery Redbacks will play the Total Building Solution Qld Bears.
At 7:30pm, the Burnett Painting Contractor Bears will play the South Burnett Car Sales & Window Tinting Redbacks. Winners of both games will play in the Grand Final on Saturday, September 13.
