A motorcyclist has suffered multiple injuries after his bike hit a wallaby overnight.
The man, in his 30s, had been travelling on a bush road at Glastonbury, east of Widgee, when he struck the wallaby.
An RACQ CareFlight spokesman said the man’s bike slid into a barbed wire fence.
Emergency Services had to extract the patient from bushland at the side of the road before transporting him to Gympie Hospital.
He was then airlifted by RACQ CareFlight to Nambour Hospital with multiple injuries.
