The grand finals of the Interdistrict Netball Competition – which featured teams from Nanango and Kingaroy – were played this evening at the Nanango Netball Courts.
Winners of the Cadets Grand Final were Nanango team Dynamite Divas who defeated another Nanango team, Jedi Ninjas, 22-14 in a hard-fought game.
Player of the match was Willow Robson.
In the Junior division, Nanango team Cheetahs defeated Kingaroy team Attacking Angels 14-4.
Player of the match was Taylah Kidman.
Nine teams competed in each division.
Also presented with a trophy was long-time volunteer Lynn Smith, who was named the Nanango and District Netball Association’s Club Person of the Year.
