Brisbane motivational speaker Lorin Nicholson dropped into St Mary’s Catholic College on Friday to give students a lesson in music,  understanding and courage.

Lorin was born legally blind. He has retinitis pigmentosa, a condition that has left him with only the most marginal of sight.

However that has not stopped him from becoming a talented musician, a successful businessman and a cyclist (he once rode a tandem pushbike from Perth to Sydney).

Lorin shared his music and personal life story with the St Mary’s students in various groups across the day  – and even tossed in some music tips along the way.
