Police and the fire brigade attended a small fire in a house in Lara Court, Kingaroy, on Wednesday morning.
Senior Sergeant Duane Frank, from Kingaroy Police, said the fire broke out about 9:30am and caused minor structural damage.
It is believed to have started in a washing machine after the motor seized.
No one was injured.
