A large grassfire at Woolooga caused headaches for emergency services workers and local residents on Saturday afternoon.
Nine fire crews were called to the blaze at 9:15am on Saturday morning.
Three hours later, firefighters were still on the scene working to contain the fire.
No properties were under threat but a large amount of smoke was near the Wide Bay Highway.
