Kingaroy State High School’s annual “Flair” concert filled the town hall this evening with proud parents and friends eager for a night of entertainment.

The popular annual concert is organised by Year 12 students as a fundraiser for the High School’s Chaplaincy program.

It showcases the talents of students from Years 8-12. This year’s event featured dancing, solo vocalists, a flute solo and choir performances, all compered by teacher Don Mengel.

Independent fundraising for the chaplaincy program is probably more vital than ever at the moment following a recent High Court challenge to Federal Government support for the program.

As well as the sale of tickets, funds were also raised through raffles at the door.
