The Queensland Farmers Federation is warning primary producers to be wary about signing up for training that is being sold door-to-door.

The QFF said a number of training companies were visiting Queensland farms offering Verification of Competency (VOC) training for farmers and workers.

However, in many cases, obtaining such a VOC is probably unnecessary.

“Concerned individuals should contact their industry organisation or QFF on (07) 3837-4747 for more information,” a spokesman said.
