Legacy are the ultimate winners following the running of the annual Anzac Day race meeting at Wondai in April.

South Burnett Race Club president Wayne Kratzmann presented a cheque for $1500 to representatives from the Fraser-Burnett Legacy group in Wondai this afternoon.

The cheque represents profits from the meeting.

Legacy provides services to Australian families who are suffering financially or socially after the incapacitation or death of a spouse or parent, during or after their defence force service.

It currently cares for about 100,000 widows and 1900 children and disabled dependants throughout Australia.

The Fraser-Burnett group provides assistance to six widows in the South Burnett area.
