Artists Lori Sedgman and June McCotter with one of June’s works; the pair have been helping to hang the exhibition ahead of tomorrow night’s opening

July 3, 2014

Sunshine Coast artists Lori Sedgman and June McCotter support each other, inspire each other and are the featured artists for July at the Wondai Art Gallery.

The pair will be filling the whole gallery with a wonderful collection of artwork.

Both June and Lori work mainly with acrylic in both traditional and abstract styles.

June has her own art gallery at the Big Pineapple on the Sunshine Coast and has been a Friend of the Wondai Gallery for many years.

In 2011, she won the gallery’s Acquisitive Art prize.

Lori Sedgman, from Woombye, has art studios in Melbourne and Sydney.

The pair are passionate about their art and both have over 30 years experience.

They’ll both be at the opening night from 6:00pm tomorrow (July 4).

The $5.00 entry fee includes hot and cold supper and punch. Wine will be served by local winery and there’ll also be live entertainment.

Kidz Corner this month will feature artworks from St Patrick’s Primary School at Nanango (June McCotter is a past student).
