Heritage Bank has come on board as the major sponsor for the new region-wide South Burnett Business Excellence Awards.
A date claimer for Wednesday, October 15, has been set for the awards presentation and gala dinner.
“The South Burnett Business Excellence Awards have been designed to recognise and celebrate the efforts and achievements of our diverse and dedicated business community and to acknowledge their contribution to the South Burnett,” South Burnett Mayor Wayne Kratzmann said today.
“These awards are an opportunity for our business community to come together and celebrate their achievements.
“This year’s event will be the first and we are looking at this becoming an annual event for the region.
The awards will be designed to:
- Raise service standards in the South Burnett
- Facilitate a continuous improvement business culture
- Identify business strengths and opportunities for improvement
- Encourage peak business performance
- Showcase South Burnett’s business strengths
“The awards will be sponsored by Heritage and will have a special guest speaker,” Mayor Kratzmann said.
The lead-up to the gala dinner will involve an invitation extended to sponsors and nominees to attend boardroom mentoring and business workshops, and the opportunity to receive a business health check and regional networking.
“There are several levels of sponsorship and the chance to get involved in the premier South Burnett Business Excellence Awards at a ground level,” SBRC Manager of Economic Development Phil Harding said.
“There are openings for six category sponsors at a sponsorship amount of $1500, with benefits including a table of 10 ($700 value) to the gala dinner event and pre-event and post-event marketing.
“Another general sponsorship level is available at an amount of $500 with sponsors receiving two free tickets to the awards dinner and publicity.”
