If you’re looking for a new pet, now could be the time to do it as the Kingaroy RSPCA is having a “25 per cent off everything” sale this weekend.

RSPCA Qld spokesperson Michael Beatty said the organisation was desperate to find homes for the animals in its care.

“All our care centres are full and we now have over 1000 animals in our care throughout the State,” Mr Beatty said.

“To be honest things are getting a bit desperate and we need to rehome as many animals as possible and generate some funds. Hopefully this promotion will do both.”

All adoption animals will be discounted between 25 and 75 per cent.

The Kingaroy Shelter will be getting into the spirit of the occasion with a barbecue, bake sale, $5 hydrobaths, and activities for the children including a jumping castle, face-painting and colouring-in competition.

“We want it to be a fun weekend where you can find a bargain and hopefully a loving new family member as well,” Mr Beatty said.

All RSPCA merchandise will also be discounted.
