The Seniors Winter Competition kicked off on Thursday (June 12) with a game between the current Summer champions Panthers against a new team called the Bakery Misfit Boys.

This game promised to be close, but Panthers never looked back having a 1st half lead of 8 goals to 0  and going onto win 15 goals to 1 goal.

A new-look Barambah turned up to play D-Gen and with D-Gen missing a couple of key players, Barambah had a slight lead at half-time 5 goals to 2.

In the 2nd half, Barambah found their feet and put 13 goals away, running out winners 18 to 3.

The final game of the night was between a new team of girls, Gunnettes against the A-Team. The half-time score saw the A-Team ahead 5 goals to 0 but the second half was a close affair with the young girls firing a goal into the A-Team’s net and the A-Team only scoring 3 goals. The final score was A-Team 8 to Gunnettes 1.

Gunners had the bye for the evening.
