South Burnett Regional Council has advised that Kingaroy, Blackbutt and Benarkin residents will have their water supply interrupted intermittently over the next few weeks due to water main and fire hydrant cleaning.
In Kingaroy, the work will be carried about between Tuesday, June 17 and Monday, June 23.
In Blackbutt and Benarkin, interruptions will occur between Monday, June 23 and Wednesday, June 25.
Council has encouraged residents to check the SBRC website to obtain a copy of the schedule, maps, dates and times of the locations to be affected.
As a result of the cleaning process, the water supply to residents may produce some dirty and aerated water so residents have been advised to flush their pipes by turning on an external tap to restore quality after the normal supply is resumed.
