A garage sale and “old-style fete” will be held at St Mary’s Catholic College in Kingaroy next month as part of fundraising to help student Pacey Clegg make a dream come true.
Pacey, 14, has been offered a “tour of a lifetime” after being selected to represent Australia in a futsal team which will be touring the United Kingdom later this year.
To help raise the funds necessary for the trip, Pacey’s family and friends have been organising various fundraising events.
The garage sale / fete, on July 20, is the latest effort.
There’ll be trash and treasure, a cake and bake stall, games, arts and crafts and secondhand books.
Organisers are also interested in booking stallholders for the event.
Cost is just $10.
